Year-Round Elementary School (K-5)

Pearsontown has no assigned attendance zone, but serves students from Bethesda, Creekside, Fayetteville Street, Forest View, Hope Valley, Lakewood, Parkwood, W. G. Pearson, E.K. Powe, Y. E. Smith, Southwest, C. C. Spaulding and Geo. Watts attendance zones who wish to attend a year-round school.

  • Sibling Attending Preference - an assignment preference given to student applicants who have a sibling currently attending the school and who will also be attending during the upcoming school year.  
  • Sibling Applying Preference– an assignment preference given to a student when siblings apply for Club Blvd Magnet during the same application period and one is selected.Students access Pearsontown through the year-round lottery application process.  Once assigned, a student may continue through the duration of all grades, as long as they continue enrollment and are domiciled in the Pearsontown region. Relocating outside the region will result in immediate loss of assignment.
  • Link Preference Reminder - an assignment preference that provides a natural link to rising 5th graders to Roger-Herr Year-Round Middle School. To receive the link, students who reach the 5th grade must complete a secondary year-round application.
