Calendar Magnets (Year-Round)
Many parents find that a year-round calendar is best suited to their child’s learning style, as well as to the family’s lifestyle. Three elementary schools—Easley, Holt and Pearsontown—and one middle school—Rogers-Herr —operate on a year-round calendar, which divides the year into 9-week quarters with a 3-week break (intersession) at the end of each quarter.
The basic instructional program is the same at year-round schools and traditional schools. Any elementary or middle school student can apply for an assignment to a year-round school. Transportation within the designated year-round regions is provided.
